reminiscing the good ol' days

i have a confession, i'm a little forgetful at times. but one thing's for sure i don't forget people and i think i tend to remember on smaller stuffs and not the whole picture. for example i remember a friend's favorite color even if we weren't that close and i haven't seen her for more than 5 years. or that i remember my first conversation to some people, on topics we first talked about. heh. i guess trying to remember all these little things is making me forget about important stuffs like my job or relating to my studies. this could be an advantage at times but mostly it is the opposite, especially when i'm trying so hard to forget about certain stuff. some memories are still fresh in my mind that it feels like it happened just yesterday. double heh

so anyways, there will be times when i would sit and just reminisce on my experiences in life. of what i had gone through over this 26 years of life (omg did i just revealed my age on purpose?) older people might say i have a lot more to go through and i'm not denying that, it's just that i cherish all these experiences; good or bad because that's what is making me, me today. so whenever there are bound to be some bad events in the future, i'll just say to myslef that it's gonna be alright because all these hardships are what i'm going to remember for the rest of my life. ooh~

ps: i think when i grow older, i'll be the kind of makcik/nenek who would tell her younger generation about her past life for no reason ;p
