being in the accounting field, most of my friends would obviously be doing either accounts, taxation or audit. some would probably get themselves involved into banking or investment but that's a rare case. so anyways i know a lot of auditors who all share the same work experience as i do.
and whenever we bump into each other, most of our topics would be non other than...WORK..i notice that we like to chat about how sleep deprived we are (we even asked each other how many hours we sleep each night), rant about some of our ridiculous clients, how our salary doesn't compensate our workload and yada yada..and some of us would be so stressed up that they face pimple break outs. or in my case, the classic case of dark cirlces/eye bags (more like luggage for me). i'm telling you, i look like a super panda these days..so yeah i assume other people would see us as boring people but what the heck.
as for now, the only thing that consoles me for being stuck in this situation is that i would like to gain my experience. plus there's a saying, berakit-rakit ke hulu, berenang-renang ketepian; bersusah-susah dahulu, bersenang-senang kemudian ;p
btw last two weeks, i got demotivated about something. i really felt like quitting and just concentrate on my long standing paper. but then a few days later i was given a new laptop (it was actually another senior's who left for a bigger firm) and it bounced back my feeling. at least no more lugging my laptop dinosaur..i'm telling you, i'm soo easy to be pleased. heh.
and i'm finally getting my own business card!like finally! so next time i can brag with, 'this is my card'. omg i sound so pathetic. you see there were a few occasions when my clients were asking for my card, and all i can say was, "i'm sorry i don't have one". a friend of mine was smarter and answered, "i'm sorry i left it in office". heh
